Facial Reflexology

Facial Reflexology has long been used in the Far East. It became very popular in Vietnam in the 1980’s. A Professor Bui Quoc Chau, a specialist in acupuncture, a team of doctors, research scientists and acupuncturists developed a technique called Facytherapy, based on traditional oriental medicine. He hypothesized that there should not be any difference in reflexology relating to the hands, feet, ears or any other area of the body. Their further studies used 500 complex pressure points on the face and scalp.

It was brought to France by Nhuan Le Quang and was called Dien Cham method in 1986. The face is richly supplied with nerves and blood vessels. Its health benefits are much the same as reflexology, and it has been called a natural facelift, as the stimulation of points increases circulation to the face to give a vibrant complexion. The treatment includes an Ear Reflexology treatment.
